We found that Bucharest is a very interesting city with much to offer. George Ionescu offered us a heart-warm greeting and even took us out to lunch at an Italian restaurant in Bucharest, where the cuisine and meal were impressive. He also provided a short tour while reflecting on some of the history of the area. My wife and I further explored ‘Old Town’ and were even able to tour the Natio...Dave Nelson, Ph.D.
This was my venture in teaching at RAU. I will fondly remember the moment I landed at OTP. Dean Negricea welcomed me in the wee hours (2am). I never received such a warm reception anywhere. The next few days were no exception. I've taught outside the US a few times. Never did I see the students and faculty show so much respect and warmth.
