A short description of the course:
1) Valuations of Companies
This course focuses on the principles and methods used to determine the value of a company. Students learn how to apply valuation techniques such as comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions. The course also explores value drivers, financial forecasting, risk assessment, and how valuation is used in mergers, acquisitions, and investment decisions.
2) Business Plan in Practice
This practice-oriented course guides students through the development of a complete business plan. It covers market analysis, value proposition design, competitive positioning, business models, marketing strategy, operations planning, and financial projections. Emphasis is placed on transforming an idea into a structured, investor-ready document and pitching it effectively.
3) Corporate Finance
This course provides a foundation in financial decision-making within corporations. Key topics include capital structure, dividend policy, risk and return, and financial performance analysis. Students learn how companies make investment, financing, and payout decisions to maximize shareholder value.
