Tomoyuki Yamakami

Tomoyuki Yamakami is a professor of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Fukui, Japan.

He received a Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and then engaged in research as a post-doctoral fellow at Princeton University.

He specializes in theoretical computer science, in particular, computational complexity issues of quantum computation, cryptography, automata, optimization, approximation, fuzzy computation, and also mathematical logic.

He teaches automata theory, algorithm design, mathematics, and computational complexity theory at the University of Fukui.
