Jaewoon Koo

Chonnam National University
 

Jaewoon Koo was born in Gwangju, South Korea. 

After graduation from Seoul National University, he studied economics at Washington University, USA. 

After obtaining a Ph.D degree, he has served as a professor of Chonnam National University in Korea. 

His major fields are macroeconomics, financial economics and regional economics.  

He wrote a lot of papers on economic growth, corporate investment, and financial liberalization. 

Some of them were published in prestigious journals like Contemporary Economic Policy and Applied Economics. 

He has currently taught Korean economic growth to many international students at Chonnam National University.
