Mariya Stankova is professor, with PhD in the area of Social studies (Tourism) and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the South-West University “Neofit Rislki” in charge of quality education. She is lecturer, researcher and author of books and articles in the field of Tourism destination and Tour operators’ Management, Sustainable development and Competitiveness. M. Stankova has over 22-years’ experience as a tourism expert and consultant, working on numerous projects in the field of tourism and sustainable development.
