Simana Markovska is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Economics of the South-West University “Neofit Rilski”, studying the modern strategies for re-vitalization of museums as cultural tourism sites. She has over 20-years’ experience as a tourism expert and consultant, being the chairperson of the NGO for sustainable tourism - Pirin Tourism Forum. Ms. Markovska is a member of the Interpret Europe association for heritage interpretation, certified interpretive trainer and coordinator of the Bulgarian interpretation network - Interpret Bulgaria.
