Adem Öğüt
Professor Adem Öğüt was born in Konya, Türkiye, 1971. He graduated from the School of Political Sciences of Ankara University in 1993 with an honorary degree. After graduation, he completed the ESL Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey (1994), a Pre-MBA Program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland (1995), and his MBA at the University of New Haven (1997) accordingly. He continued his academic career as a doctorate student at Ankara University in 1997. Then, he became a research assistant at Selcuk University and received his doctorate in Business Administration in 2000. Dr. Öğüt became an associate professor in 2004 and a full-time professor in 2009 at the same department. His fields of interest are Strategic Management, Knowledge Management, and Innovation Management. He has been conducting lots of seminars for both public and private enterprises. He is a member of the scientific committee of more than twenty academic journals. Professor Öğüt has received various awards and recognitions due to his contribution to research and academics. He is the winner of a best paper award from the HOSTEUR International Council (USA-2006) and a best research award from the World Business Institute (Australia-2011). He coordinated the European Union LLP Transfer of Innovation- ToI Project (2010-2012) for the clustering shoe industry in Konya region, Türkiye. He served as the dean of Selçuk University Business School between 2012-2016. Currently, he is a faculty member of Necmettin Erbakan University (NEU) Business Administration Department.
