Domingos Santos holds a degree in Environmental Engineering, a Master’s in Regional and Urban Planning, a Post-Graduation in European Studies and a PhD in Applied Environmental Sciences.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:
Professor at IPCB with extensive teaching and research experience in areas related to innovation, entrepreneurship, competitiveness, strategy, and project management. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses focusing on innovation processes, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and competitive regional development.

RESEARCH INTERESTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS:
His research explores the dynamics of regional innovation systems and entrepreneurial ecosystems, emphasizing their role in shaping regional competitiveness and economic development. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications and book chapters on topics such as innovation policy, entrepreneurial universities, and the interaction between innovation and local development.
